Help

First, let me tell ya, I am not a coder or a programmer. At best, perhaps, a second rate hacker. So I will try help where I can.

To add a site, first click on the "Add New Site" link shown in figure 1. This can be found on the navagation bar on the left.

Figure 1

The above link will take you to the web ring script and display the following (figure 2):

Figure 2

Use the pull down menu under "Ring ID" and select "webapp" (figure 3). Then click on the button "Get Form".

Figure 3

The form will now be displayed (figure 4). Complete the form including your choice of a "Site ID" and "Password". You will use these to login in the future to edit your site info. Remember to enter you name, or nick name, and an email address. This email address is used to contact you regarding web ring matters. Then clilck the "Submit" button.

Figure 4

Now the form shown in figure 5 will be displayed with a box including the code for the web ring. IMPORTANT: if you are going to use the code in a Web-App box (which seems a good place to put it), click on the button labeled "One line". This will produce the same code, but it will be on one line which is suitable for Web-App left and right boxes. An easy way to copy the code is to click somewhere within the code box, on your keyboard press the key combination “Ctrl A” (without the quotes), this selects all of the code. Then press the key combination “Ctrl C” to copy what has just been selected. Then jump to your Web-App site where you will put the code and press the key combination “Ctrl V” to paste the code into your site.

Figure 5

If you want to view the ring directory, click on the "Ring Directory" button on the left navagation bar of the main pages (figure 1). This will take you to the "Web-App Web-Ring - Ring list page (figure 6). Under Web-App Sites, click on the text link "List".

Figure 6

Well, that's it. Enjoy.
